Do not turn the key

If you have not started the car, the contaminated fuel is still sitting in the tank. A straight drain and flush usually costs a fraction of a pump and injector replacement.

If the engine has already run, stop immediately, do not restart, and tell the technician on the phone — we bring extra flushing capacity for that job.

Push, do not drive

Move the vehicle out of the driveway lane with the engine off, put the handbrake on, and stay with the car. Never coast it home.
